My goal when speaking to people about sharks, is to change their perceptions in order to help them understand and eventually care for these animals that need our help.

In the talks I give to schools, universities, dive clubs and other social groups, I spend a bit of time talking about my work in South Africa including some never before seen footage of behaviour you won’t have seen on Shark Week. I also introduce you to some of the sharks I have come to know very well, and talk about sharks around the world and the threats they face.

Talks in schools and universities can be adapted to fit current modules and topics to suit the class.

But the most important part is hearing how, regardless of age or location, you CAN make a difference.
